Same suit or same rank. An eight is whatever you say it is. First to an empty hand takes the round, and everyone else pays for what they are still holding.

Two makes the next player draw two, queen skips them, ace turns the play around.
Play a card matching the suit or the rank on top. An eight is wild — play it on anything and name the suit. With nothing to play you draw until you find something, or until the stock runs out. Scoring: an eight costs 50, a picture 10, an ace 1, everything else its face value.
